No, it just happens for me if the forum's running slowly and/or I'm impatient, and hit the thanks button a second, third time etc before the first one has been reigstered.

I once had eight thanks from Sm© on a post. I just assumed he had the D.T.'s bad that day.

It's running really slowly and it's very annoying.
What I have noticed recently is that if I thank a post (and my name is added to the list) and then I thank another one on the same page (and my name is added to this list), in the first post I thanked, my name is now removed from the list and there is a circling dot pattern there instead. I have to refresh the page to get both names displayed. Huh

This has always been the case since its inception - at least in my experience. As you said though, the thanks is still there and will show when anyone else loads the page (or you reload it).
any particular reason why i get an exclamation mark after my nick name when i thank some one for there post's
The exclamation mark is a shortcut to the delete thanks button. You can delete your thanks without having to refresh the page.
Thank you im just a bit stupid

I've never even noticed the exclamation mark before, until now Smile
Same prob, when I press theThank you buttom my name doesn't appear with the others listed.Could having a ridiculously long username be the issue ? Is also possible it's registered but I cant see it.I'm new to the forum & conscious of the fact that others have thanked me & I don't want to come across as some kind of ignoramus.Thanx in advance.
