The Janet Jackson set was interesting for being all uptempo; I think "That's the Way Love Goes" was about as placid as it got. No ballads, nowt. Not a loss in the case of crap like "Whoops Now" but still surprising.
Stormzy's set was OK but seemed to be over so quickly. If Metallica just did 75 minutes, I expect fans would go "cool, when does the 2nd half start?"
Yeah, I remember them being there, I thought they went longer? Maybe it just seems longer... Ed Sheeran and Radiohead seemed to go long in 2017, or maybe it's the memory cheating? I thought an act would need a few albums under their belts before they could headline, but I get that Stormzy makes up the deficit with personality.
