I prefer to think of it as civilized. Especially compared to those drunk morons that attend PDC events. They couldn't give a fuck about darts- they just want to get wasted and sing irrelevant songs that, to me, totally disrespect the players.

Can't quite credit that John Walton's win was 15 years ago.
Think Scott Waites is the only former World Champ left in it.
A pity that Trina Gulliver is drawn against Lisa Ashton in only the quarter-finals.

Can't believe the Adams-Nixon final was 9 years ago. Sad to learn that Phil Nixon is dead (though I suspect I've heard this before, and forgotten it). It surprises me the number of former big BDO names who didn't go to the PDC and thus presumably sank into obscurity.
