it is relevent if he comes of nearly a month off sickness to go off again for paterninty and next he will be taking time off for a honeymoon when he acutally marries her

Some people can't seem to tell the difference between seasonal workers and immigrants. You can't make a full time job out of fruit picking unless you follow the seasons round Europe, which is what some of these guys will be doing.

Even now with many people looking for short term work, I can almost guarantee the half of them wouldn't show up for the second day once they discovered the reality of the job was a world away from a Sunday afternoon stroll round the local pick-your-own.
