It would seem the DUP(ed) are in favour of it! Same deal that they rejected before - customs down the Irish sea - (SShhh!! quiet, nobody will notice their 'change of heart') In a sense quite clever, as it puts the onus on Sinn Fein to get back to Stormont, if they wish to be in a position to use the Assembly veto when the time comes if they don't like it!! Apparently it drives a coach and horses through the good Friday agreement, so incentive is there for them! DUP will also wish to see it removed asap, so maybe they will all accept the need to get back 'up the hill' and earn what they are getting as MLA's (on strike).

I happen to agree with R Salter (UUP head honcho - for a while longer at least) Bojo is wanting no deal, knows that Veradkar will not accept this proposal - the EU will not throw ROI under the bus - ergo no deal exit, and Bojo pins blame on the 27. Another reason the DUP have backed it at this early stage! As I said in earlier post, the business community can only see a downside, with incredible bureaucracy and associated costs! Their response and reasoned arguments are what I would give most credence too!

I am not surprised given the 'play pen' he had to preside over - and try to keep in some sort of order - the other day! It was - however you cut it - an embarrassment! To see our PM openly defy the chair by walking out, was shameful!! Yes, others from the flip side of the argument, did themselves no favours either, it is true!

And now today - after lambasting Labour party members for being absent from the chamber during NI legislation scrutiny (they were right) - the DUP(ED) were absent today when BOJO's (heavily criticised) proposals were brought forward! I am someone who can accept most things from most people, but I have no time for hypocrisy/hypocrites, and they are prime examples!!

I have had a gutful of my part of the UK being used as a football, faux concern shown by those who clearly have another agenda, and use us as a convenient argument, particularly when they - more often than not - haven't got a good word to say about us!! On the other side, my/our representatives who are more adept at pursuing their own self serving agenda(s)

Seems like MEP's didn't like the deal - and I don't think BOJO has much room to manouvere with the EU left - and the clock is still ticking..
