Terence - do you think that is what the DUP want as I seem to recall that they were the only political party to vote against the Good Friday Agreement at the time.

I would say any deal that has to be done is one which keeps the Agreement intact and May's deal did, nor this one does that

yes. they had nothing to do with the good friday agreement and were against it. i think they see this as a chance to strengthen the bond between the uk and n.i and weaken the irish hold at the same time.

of course, the opposite is true for sinn fein. it's high stakes poker atm.
