As I thought only a few weeks ago it was a pritty decent stream when on the hi setting. Now Babestation 1 seams to have half the frame rate it had. Babestation Blue is like freeze frame annimation. And Babstation extra is almost totally frozen. I have noticed some videos posted from the webstream and they seem to have a reasonable frame rate. So I'm wondering if it's just me. Although if it is just me, then why can I watch other streams with a much higher bit rate without any problem.

I noticed yesterday that there was either little or no difference between the medium and high settings on BSDaytime feed. Can't really say about frame rate, as it slows right down as soon as I open Debut Video Capture (just for screen-shots) anyway, but that's probably just my laptop being a jerk, as usual.

Perhaps recording a short test video of each BS stream via Replay Media Catcher 4 would provide an answer as to frame rate?
(I would myself, but my connection speed is too slow to record video properly)

I have already done recordings using RMC4 in direct stream download mode. And the results are the same as what you see on screen. Even though I have a recording from two weeks ago using the same method that is perfect.

I'm asuming it has to do with the new buffering system they are using in the player. So some people will get a good frame rate and some like me will not. I just can't figure out what's causing it now. When it was perfect two weeks ago.

Ha, Ha, Ha. It's just contradicted me tonight. And the frame rate is back to normal on BS Blue & Extra. Babestation 1 for some reason won't start. It just keeps giving me the timer. But the other two are running fine. So a blessing in disguise dropping one to get two back.

But they are not all equally popular, they do not bring in equal money why should they get equal screentime. If I am running a channel then the most popular girl who brings in the most money is going to get the screentime. The channel is trying to make money, fairness does not enter the equation.

Is there actually any evidence that certain girls bring in more money for the time they are actually on? You can't just give the overall figure, since a girl who has been on for 3 hours is bound to get more calls than one who has only been for an hour (something that seems to have been regularly happening recently).
You would need to have some other, more objective measure such as average number of calls per session length, or average length of call, or average number of users listening in per call. I'm fairly sure BS wouldn't be doing anything as scientific as this, so presumably they would simply say that the girls who are on longest get the most calls and are therefore the most popular - doh!

I think the records that the channels keep regarding the call stats will be acurate. As the service provider will log all the calls, time, duration, etc. As they have to in order to calculate how much is made. The service provider takes their cut (Usually the biggeset chunk) and then passes on the rest to the channel, minus tax of course. Plus isn't each babe logged into the phone she is using whilst on screen. So the phone records could be tied into screen time and phone used to produce production figures.

babestation has been the best babechannel tonight (hears other forum members collapse in shock ), no channel hogging, hardly any interruptions, the osg's havent been that bad and the babes are moving round all 3 channels tonight. and all the babes are having good nights too.

bs needs more nights like this if they want to be back challenging elie & rlc for no 1 babechannel

Exactly. I don't always like the way BS go about their business, but it's a business at the end of the day. Lolly literally brings in the 'lolly' for callers, that's why Elite covert her so badly and the reason BS fought hard to keep her (plus snatch the likes of Lori from them).

My original point is at least you see the likes of Kandi getting scheduled regularly even if she don't get as much screentime. On other channels I can't see some of the girls I like at all for weeks, yet the same old ones nearly everyday but no outrage about 'fairness'.

Yeah, ok, we don't really know what goes on behind the scenes but it's still disappointing when a girl you like has a shift but you hardly get to see her, especially if you want to call her.

Don't agree, though, that it's the same thing as girls you like not getting enough shifts. Kind of assumes they're sitting at home staring at the phone, willing the channel to call them. Most of them have other sides to their career, whether it's modelling or porn, and may only be doing the shifts they are able to, or want to.

Have to agree that the OSG on BS1 have improved dramatically, however I think BSx needs major work on it-hard to tell the difference between the show and the sodding adverts for smart pens at times!! As for the camera work on there-you have one girl half hidden by the notorious boxes and about a metre of spare space to the right of girl 2 when they do a 2 on the bed show. I am sure that local colleges will offer night classes in basic camera work

While I'm having a rant one thing about BS1; the adverts that tell us how easy it is to call, what numbers to press, which girls to choose, that we can call some grannie at home alone and last but not least the website address. All great and useful so can we now assume that this will all be removed from the 1 to 2 minute recording when actually calling a girl as we are all now aware of our options?
This should reduce the message to 'Hi welcome to Babestation-we are now putting you through to Girl No.1. As much valued customers it will knock £4 off our phone bill that can be re-invested in chatting to our chosen girl

Was great seeing Gerin on yesterday. It's really good to see her on the phones more often.
