because the sex industry and retail are completely different entities and are not hit the same by recession

Really? You have comparative figures then I assume?

the sex industry is hit by regulations more than recession, thats a widely known fact mate

you could try telling that to the website owners who have gone out of business or the licensed sex shops which have closed down - including those operated by the chains. and besides i'm not talking about a recession simply a change in what people want or getting fed up with a product which doesn't involve and going to another shop to try something different.

website owners are affected by the free porn sites and cheaper model of cam sites, thats been a long standing issue now

when talking about babeshows, we have what we have and we dont have high street selection of shops like back in the day to choose from.

The sex industry used to be considered immune to economic factors; no longer it seems:

Besides how would you judge the cause of the downturn in the babe shows? There are so many factors in play. How could you say it has been more to do with the regulations than the recession?

The idea that the babeshows "are not that deep" is driven by those that don't wish to acknowledge how much effective customer service and a consideration of psychology impacts users' future interactions.

^Tube sites? Maybe they are more protected from recession by virtue of having stolen the thunder of the old porn industry? Besides that is still not data on the babe channels is it? Useful information and probably comparable but who knows.

One factor driving the boom is better video quality: “Larger screens on mobile devices are making it more convenient to access these videos,” said Foye. Over half — 51 percent — of adult video views will take place on mobile this year, up for 48 percent last year. Mobile adult subscriptions will reach nearly $1 billion this year; while mobile adult content and services overall will hit $2.8 billion.

tube and cam sites have taken business away from legit porn sites and babeshows.

its a fact that whilst they have lost some revenue, there is no direct competition for babechannels at the moment

the biggest threat to all babe channels is and always will be regulation. phone sex and these shows fill a need that we happily pay for no matter what

^ We have found something we agree on. Wink I hope the babe channels see that quote and latch on. They seem to focus on every other indication of good business to be had that are mentioned in such reports. Hopefully the same will be true for better quality images.
