I've notice people are moving more and more away for rapid, this new charging system may sink it. I'll read it closely and get me calculator out and see if it's more expensive than before.

All hosts end up going that way, The 1st host i ever used was Streamload which at the time was the only thing to use, they did something similar and ending losing all their customers.

Stoped using rapidshare myself when it changed the in-active file rule for premium users, been using http://www.multiupload.com ever since.

Is it true that some ISPs in the UK are blocking access to RS/MU ?

I ask the question because I have seen "host file" amendments on a scene site which says so.

So, I'm thinking of buying a month or two of RS premium usage. Could anyone tell me what's the simplest way to pay? Is it via credit card in Euros, or from a UK based reseller? Does pay by call work in the UK? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you have its quick and easy and you dont need to give rs your card details.

i have had my rapidshare account for ages and i love it as all the older content is still active.

but hotfile is running rs close now.

Yeah I use PayPal too and it is pretty quick to process your membership

RS also seem to have improved some of the utilities on the site

Hi guys, just tried to download a rapidshare video and realised its all changed. I though fair enough and signede up to the free member account. Tried downloading the file I wanted and I believe my internet security (AVG) stopped the site from begining downloading the file. This is quite common and usually I simply right click on the 'this site is trying to download a file' tab and select allow download and it works but when I tried this on rapidshare it simply redirected me to the homepage. Tried it several times and am becoming increasingly frustrated. Please can anyone help.
