Not a problem I'm faced with, but would d/loading a few seconds of each of the relevant files, be one way of getting round that? I don't know. Simple answer I suppose is - don't upload so much in the first place.

I'm not sure Moron - this is something that I'd also wondered but not yet tested. If its works, its the route I may take to keep my uploaded files 'live'.

I understand that once an RS download is started, the full size of the file is registered with your ISP as having been downloaded even if in reality you only download 1kb.

The implication of this is that for those who have a limited bandwidth plan or are with an ISP who implements a stringent fair use policy, downloading a little of many files may not be possible.

It appears that the limit has been increased to 50 GB, but as from 1st January the period of inactivity after which a file will be deleted will be lowered to 60 days.

Can anyone tell me how and why i have to download something to join two files together in order to play a vid? Ive never had to do this, as i use megaupload (on advice from skateguy) and i always get good results! Why would anyone use a site that is so fiddly? I want to download some stuff,but can i be arsed to 'join files together' using something or other??!! The moods long gone by then!

I just wish that people would stop using Rapidshare so much,a lot of the vids can only be downloaded by becoming a premium member,which costs money! The whole purpose of having these free forums is that they are supposed to be FREE just like the programs that they came from.

All downloading software costs money at some point. Just be Grateful that members take the time to upload the vids
