Rapidshare

Is anyone else getting a new problem with RS ? EVERY single file I try to download via RS keeps saying 'Download Permission Denied. Anyone else getting this ?

Its because Rapidshare changed its default setting for all files to private. Unless the owner of the account changes the permission of the (usually defalut) folder only he/she can download.
I have (hopefully) changed the settings on any of my vids on here. But many, many, many users won't have noticed or changed theirs

Thanks for the info. I just logged into my account and found there had been no downloads of my files at all yesterday. About a dozen or more have always been downloaded each day previously.
It took me about 30 minutes to work out how to share them again, and they seem to be available now. I just tried a trial download from a forum link after logging out of rapidshare.
I checked my emails and there was nothing from them since November, when they said one of my files was about to be deleted; no notice about the changes.

No they didn't email me either, I did get a notice when I logged into the website, which was purely by chance, as I normally stay logged in.

so irritating. the week i decide to compile a babe video collection before the links become unavailable rs go & throw ANOTHER spanner in the works. it used to be a dependable source but now...... spose we have to sit tight & hope most of the uploaders realise the situation. hopefully this thread stays relevant so people know about rapidshares recent changes.

Anyone having problems accessing "rapidshare"?
