Theres optimism, then there's realism...If Mike gets taken down, its game over..sadly i think he will...i hope im proven wrong though!

I'd love for Bisping to win on Saturday. I've said before though that the one guy i'd like him to avoid is Sonnen. I've not seen anyone do to Anderson Silva, what Sonnen did to him for 4 and a half rounds. He didn't dry hump him, he took him down, beat him up and gave him the toughest fight of his career. That was unreal. He followed that up by submitting the dangerous Brian Stann in two rounds.

If Bisping's gonna win, he'll have to ko/tko a lad, who's only been stopped via sub or cuts. Bisping doesn't have a sub win at this level in his locker, especially against a wrestler like Sonnen.

Anything can happen though, and i hope Bisping wins but i can't see it.

Everyone on here has Evans beating Davis.... Except me. I've said a few times that Davis could turn out to be every bit as good as Jon Jones. He's more than just a wrestler, he'll prove that on saturday i reckon. Something tells me he might stop Rashad, but i'll stick to a UD win.

well i may have been a bit drunk when i posted last night but i think i can still support my arguement. I think Anderson was far from being beaten up, he got controlled and got hit with light gnp but wasn't taking much damage or big shots after the fight he looked in better condition than Sonnen. and lets not forget Sonnen lost that fight (he actually would have 'lost' no matter what the outcome but thats another story).
there is a big danger that Bisping just gets taken down,controlled and gnp'd to a stoppage but one of Bisping biggest strength is not his take down defence but his ability to get up, he needs to make sure the fight stays standing for longer than its on the ground. a ko/tko is unlikely but mike can out work Chael on the feet using volume striking and take it to decision. A difficult task, sonnen is favourite in the fight but one i think mike can pull off.
Mikes strength is his striking and he tries to keep fights standing and rarely goes for subs but that doesn't mean he can't pull them off if he had to. He was training for a fight with Maia so you would think he would have been training his bjj alot and his sub game would be at its best.

Should be a good fight anyway, a guess we'll see on saturday
