Info & Chat On New TV Channels & Shows (Non-babe)

There is some new licenses been added to the ofcom DTT list

these are:

Men&Movies
Movies4Men+1
Movies4Men2
Movies4Men2+1

This is in addition to the Movies4Men license they already had so they could broadcast from Manchester only.

I am having a hard time believing they will actually launch all these channels as the company that owns then is small, IMO the licenses where got so no over DTT channel can take the name of there sat channels. There is plenty of un used licenses already on the DTT list.

Aren't they the ones that show adulty movies about 10pm?

Why am I asking as if I don't know damn well what the answer is?

All the above men&movies channels are launching. Date is TBA. But they can only be picked up on freeview in the Manchester area only when they launch.

So is mid-Lancashire in or out of that zone? I mean, we pick up strong Welsh signals here (which is a fat lot of good)...

...would you rather I just waited and found out anyway?

Its only the winter hill transmitter getting those new channels. Also in other news Channel 5+1 will come to freeview as a nationwide channel in december.

Most of you will more then likely have seen this on other websites by now as I have not been posting a lot lately however if you haven't channel 5+1 launch date is December 6th

Just been checking out a few things concerning licence details of new channels and change of channel names on Ofcom's website , i was a bit surprised to find that new Sky channel "Psychic Line" Sky Ch 885 is owned and licenced by Playboy , just been checking the EPG for this channel and after 3am every night the EPG shows various 18+ adult movies being shown , might be worth a look to see what content is shown .

Just did a search 11.900 V 27.5 2/3 and I am able to access MTV Trax which is not currently on the SKY EPG

Looks like these early morning treats have gone already - less than a month after you posted about it. My EPG is now showing 'Your Psychic Readings' right through the early hours.

Hey, i saw an ad for a new channel, is showing the best of channel 4, e4 i think, didn't catch the name but it said it was on sky 140, it not on in ireland could anyone tell me if it launched in uk or what frequncy it's on. thanks
