Slightly off-topic...if you like reading, the book is very good and well worth a read (or at least it was when I read it c.15 years ago).

I watched A Time To Kill when it was shown on Film 4 last week. Now no matter how many times I watch this, its one of those films that builds the emotions more and more as it goes on. By the time the closing scene plays, when Matthew McConaughey delivers one of the most heart-rending speeches in all of film history, I'm crying a river. Its a sad and powerful tale that presses every emotion's button. 5/5

Lucky Number Slevin 8.5/10

Seriously clever and witty film that is ignored and underrated by the majority - it's a thriller you should see!

the best moment is when matthew mcconaughey tells the story of the little girl and he finishes "Now imagine she's white" and the look on samuel l jackson's face was priceless. samuel l jackson is brilliant as the father. also when the black chief police officer pushes his white corrupt cop into the rest of kkk.

good morning vietnam. when robin williams does his radio bits they are improvised. its a brilliant film, some very funny scenes mixed with some very emotional and dark scenes.

I thought I'd give the 'Tree Of Life' a chance....that chance lasted 15 minutes, the film is just too weird and disjointed to enjoy 0/10

And now he's home... and we're laughing...like we always did...
