Hes turned things around alright and deserves his place still though he is painfully slow .Reminds me a bit of michael carrick who at the very highest level champos league latter stages has been shown up. I think lucas could be the same we'll have to wait and see just not convinced by the him, as unreasonable as that sounds.

Oh look at me I can't help myself, "bought our talent" Errr Chelsea bought Raul Meireles yes, but the reason they or anyone else didn't but Lucas was simply because he wasn't for sale the same reason on one bought Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi, Ribbery, Rooney.......

I think Lucas is one of our most improved players over the last couple of seasons, he's stuck with it, never throws his toys out of the pram and puts in a descent 7/10 every week. A good tackler and works hard. I think he's earnt himself a place in the team and allows Adam, Suarez and Gerrard to do what they do best and that is roam in a free role. I think there are better players in his position, granted, but mitchell said, they're not available. We could do a lot worse!

What's your problem Mitchell? You should be able to debate without over reacting, ok your the chairman of Lucas fan club good for you but just because recognise he is not much use does not mean they have no place here. Every player is for sale if the price is right. Lucas will not be sold simply cause no one wants him.
