Well let me inform you, this is a LFC thread for... Well what it says on the tin & considering what it says you can expect an argument to the death considering the thread title. General opinion in the Banter thread is different you can bitch all you want & you may get the occasional response from myself. I can't speak for others but there's only about 3 of us who post in there anyway.

So to sum up.

LFC thread: Yup.
Anyone can post: Yup.
Expect a response whether you like it or not: Yup.

I had a feeling that might happen!!! Oh well still 37 more to go so it could still be our year.

We cnt laugh at anyone after all we got carroll, henderson n downing for 75million. gervinho will probaly have more goals n assits at the end of the season than all 3 combined

I hate to say it but the same problems are still there. Defence is not totally organised still dodgy from crosses and in midfield we lack a leader we go to sleep and let supposedly smaller/weaker teams back in the likes of united kill these games off but we don't perhaps the players earn to much to actually care? We need someone who can get them to play for 90 min not just 45 and for the love of god why is Lucas still with us.

Sorry to get involved in the Liverpool thread, but is there any Liverpool fan that likes this bloke ? Every one of my Liverpool mates cannot stand this feller and do not understand why he get's in the team, and how he has been getting away with it for so long.
As a non Liverpool fan perhaps I don't see some of the things off the ball or whatever, but seriously ? He is far below the standard of player you would normally associate in a Liverpool side.

Lucas is a good player since he's settled into his roll of defensive midfielder so your probable right Money_Shot as a none Liverpool fan you don't see much of him.

Broncobilly are you sayin Kenny's not good enough, It was the first game of the season calm yourself. Lucas was along with Raul Meireles our best player last season so you are maybe not taking much notice of the games...

Mitchell why do you think I don't pay attention? I say Lucas is rubbish, you say he is good, just cause you say he is good does not make it so. We simply give opinions on our team that's what the thread is for right

As A Liverpool fan since 1978 I have seen my fair share of players you would say werent Liverpool class. Lucas had a good season last year and he is a good player most teams would like him in the side, after all Greame Souness, Steve McMahon Dieter Hamman all players you wouldnt necessarily say were Liverpool class however in a great team players like this are needed, yes there are better players in the roll and we sold one of them last year in Javi M. Lucas will do a job and spearing will back him up when needed. I think Kenny is building a great team and it is about time we spent money on proven talent instead of wasting money like Raffa did on "potential". It will be interesting to see what happens when all the players are fit any club in the country would love our starting 11 Pepe, Johnson, Carra, Agger, Enrique, Kuyt, Gerrard, Adam, Downing, Suarez, Carroll. Got to admit that looks strong, We still need another forward to put pressure on the top 2 but we are nealry there. Once the team gels it will be hard to beat and have goals in it which is the combination we used to have under Kenny - within 2 years we will be back on terms Man Utd (hey their luck will run out one day)

lol, tell me your jokin' ? the only players in that squad that would get anywhere near the top 4 starting 11 (utd, chelsea, citeh and arsenal) are gerrard, (when fit) suarez and possibly reina, only because im not sure about de gea yet.

you mean same amount of league titles or back competing with them ? i think you'd be better concentrating on breaking back in the top 4 first and maybe an assault on the league cup and if it works out nicely that will get you into europe again
