Downing signing confirmed, as well as Doni - how much was he?

Salcido wasnt that bad?? Come on mate, Hughes could have put the Michael Jackson statue outside Craven Cottage at left back and it'd have done as good a job as him!! Big Laugh

Doni cost less than that same statue!!! Tongue Bounce (free) Downing cost a little more....most forums and "in-the-knows" are saying £18.5 million contrary to what Sky Sports are saying (£20 mill).

I like John Arne so i wont say anything bad about the fella Wink Just clench your butt cheeks if he's trying to head the ball clear of yer 6 yard box in the 94th minute!!!

Judge me by my size do you? Hmmm? Hmmm. And well you should not. For my ally is the force. And a powerful ally it is.

He wasn't useless at all, he was just homesick, but he performed well enough and never did anything obviously bad.

Doni for free is brilliant business, though I can't see him challenging Reina any time soon.

I think its £18m from what I heard

Btw, I was in no way starting anything with the Doni question, I think you are a little tightly wound up!

Alright cool, just so you know I'm not deliberately trying to be antagonising!

If you think I have a thing against Liverpool (which I don't) don't get me started on Arsenal, United, City & Chelsea!

Come on mate..this is a football banter thread. It's where we come to antagonise each other as football fans. It's good fun as long as it stays within certain boundaries!! I'm glad to have another sparring partner on here!!
