England could appeal to FIFA. There is a precedent for this in which the New Zealand government wouldn't give a visa to a Fiji player (their goalkeeper I think) and FIFA ordered the match to be postponed. Eventually the visa was granted and the match went ahead in New Zealand, but if it hadn't of been the match would have been played at a neutral venue.

In complete truth, other than a few players (Reina, Gerrard, Suarez) you have a distinctly average team (Carroll, Adam & Henderson have a lot to prove) and yet you think you are gonna push up the league? If you do, its because of Arsenal regressing rather than you improving that much.

You now say Carragher couldn't get past Ferdinand and Terry, but before you said he was in the top 2 defensive defenders - so how does that work?

I'm surprised about what you say about Stevie G, I honestly feel like he gets a lot credit (justifiable credit at that) for carrying your team whenever they need the push, and the fact he plays on the left is more a testament to Lampard lack of versitility and the fact that Gerrard is much much better than Fat Frank.

Theres no need to go into an Agger vs Rio debate, there's a clear win, and he lives in Manchester. Fair play, Vidic isn't perfect, but he gets into a lot of peoples' team of the season for the last few years, or at least mentioned in its discussion, Skrtel will never be...ever. Nor will any of your defence, so again if you wanna compare the 2, Vidic will win every single time!

As I have said in this same post, fair enough, you have youth that can come in, but if you have hopes of breaking into the top 4, your defence will be the part now that holds you back (that and Arsenal regressing if they sell will help your cause!)

This is getting me so riled up for the season! Bring on August!

I'm not in the majority of Liverpool fans when the season gets underway & you get to know my posts a little more you'll see I have my own opinions, check the LFC thread I was the only sceptical one about Kenny's return, & even made an off the cuff comment about not being too fussed about our history when talking about the next game/season.

Liverpool fans will always support Kenny no matter what given what he's done for the club & it's families.

I'll carry on the debate till the world ends but the Arsenal comment just makes me think you just hate Liverpool so will talk all day even if it's total nonsense, Roy Hodgson wasn't good enough at the time he came to us for a few reasons the main being his tactics of having no positive influence on our midfield. He gave you one of your greatest periods in your history & left for what looked like/should've been a better opportunity. That was his choice so if you wanna hold it against someone that someone should be Roy Hodgson!!!

Jamie Carragher & John Terry are in my & maybe a few others opinion the best two defensive defenders in the Premier League .

I can't be arsed with the Gerrard/Lampard debate, you don't play your most influential player out of position just to suit a player who some feel isn't as good.

I think that you've probably not seen too much of Daniel Agger to judge him so just pushing it aside with Rio is better is a bit silly.
Martin Škrtel might not get talked about by other fans but that don't mean he's not a good player like I said most will only give Gerrard & maybe Pepe the credit due to the fact we don't challenge for the league so will always talk about players that do, The more Škrtel plays the better he'll become, yes we may well be able to find better but you could say that about a few players in most teams.

Tired I was knackerd but I meant as it sounded, I wouldn't expect you to understand given the mass majority of your success has come under the rubles era.

This whole banter thing is all about opinions.If you don't rate certain players then fair play but you CLEARLY don't like Liverpool for whatever reason.Why even come on here banging on about us in the first place?

Don't know about any of the other lads on here but i really couldn't care less about any other football team in the world except my own.So it's hard for me to understand why people come on getting stuck into other teams (mainly Liverpool on here) Just don't get it.

I think they were seen as the best 2 midfielders and they had to be squeezed as they were because the manager was dumb enough to think Barry should have been in the team. But of course you would player the better player out of position because he is the better player so can adapt there more easily than the worse player who has zero versatility.

Come on, let's be real, Ferdinand is better than Agger, how can that even be debated! You say the more Skrtel plays the better he'll become, he's been in the Premier League for 3/4 years now and still needs to improve? That can't be a good sign surely.
