It's Barcelona's holier-than-thou attitude that gets my goat. All the sanctimonious crap about playing football the right way, when in actual fact they are masters of the dark arts of football; diving, feigning injuries, and the constant haranguing of referees.

Best footballing team on the planet? Yes. They're also the best at cheating too! Which is a bloody shame.

Barcelona play the best football but also have the worst dark side and bad sportsmanship I have ever seen. I bet their pre match tatics are as follows:

1) make sure you Dive whenever there is minimal contact. (Busquets is by far the best at this)

2) When one of our players go down off a tackle, make sure that you all run to the referee surrounding him, swarming him and hounding him waving the imaginary card to try and influence the ref to brandish a red card to send off one of their players (barcelona are the experts at this)

3) Always try and get one of the opponents players sent off whenever there is a challenge and always ask for a card. (Preferably a defender but anyone will do really, just like they got van persie sent off arsenal and pepe yesterday)

I swear I hate Barcelona. Thank god mourinho came out and said that they get favouritism from the referees and UEFA probably because they sponsor a charity. If I was head of the UNICEF charity I would be ashamed if my sponsor team did what barcelona did. If you see the Mourinho press conference after the game then everything that he said about barcelona and their tactics and favouritism towards them is so true.

As an Arsenal fan I felt really sorry for chelsea when they went out when they should have had about 4 clear penalties. Then i was so pissed off when arsenal went out after losing van persie to a nothing red card. Even though I don't like Real, I felt sorry for them as well yesterday.

I'd go as far as to say that Busquets and Dani Alves are two of the slimiest & most underhanded players in football. I can only hope-n-pray that they get sent-off or injured in the return leg - I wouldn't want them to pollute the Wembley final.

The two things I despise seeing on a football field are feigning injury and especially crowding around the ref. It's clear that a number of Barcelona players are guilty of these. Busquets, Alves and Pedro are terrible for staying down writhing in 'agony' after the smallest contact while nearly all the team constantly harass the ref after every foul. Xavi is undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in the world but when he is constantly giving out to the ref and waving imaginary cards, my respect for him drops a lot. Yesterday's game was probably the worst example I've seen of Barca committing these offences and chips away at my support for them.
That being said, they deserved to win yesterday. Mourinho's protestations and allegations in the press conference are nonsense! He comes out with all these outlandish comments to try and deflect attention from his players and his tactics, which were not up to scratch. He's a great coach and football is a better place with him in it but the man can't lose with any grace. He has the balls to say he'd be disgusted to win a CL like Guardiola did in '09, even though Milito's decisive goal v Barcelona last year was a yard offside. Don't even get me started on the UNICEF comments, they don't warrant a response!
Madrid are no saints either. Di Maria, in my opinopn, is the worst diver in football today. Pepe, although he didn't deserve a red, is a filthy nutcase, Ramos isn't far behind. Marcelo got away with a little stamp on Pedro. Plus we all know what C. Ronaldo is capable, though to be fair I think he's goetten a bit better.
