The best free kick ever in my opinion by Cristiano Ronaldo for Manchester United FC against Portsmouth FC. Look at the way the ball dips over the wall and swings into the top corner of the goal. Just beautiful.

Its took me long enough but I feel its time to contribute to this great thread. Plenty of sporting moments to savour throughout these pages, from the sublime to the ridiculous, to the downright ugly! Amazing how sport can bring people together.

My first contribution is a selection of golf "hole in one" shots. Miguel Angel Jiminez at the Dubai Desert Classic, Tiger Woods at Scottsdale, Arizona and my favourite of the three, Ernie Els at the Open in Royal Troon. I hope you enjoy.

england v paraguay world cup 86. forgot how many goals lineker scored around the 6 yard box for club and country, until mr wotzup put a video of him up. he was a master of it and reacted quicker than every1 else.

Euro 1988 Final - Holland vs USSR. Marco Van Basten, one of the best strikers I have ever seen play the game, scores the greatest goal I have ever seen. The angles on this seem impossible, but the great one finds a way.
