EDIT - have I mis-understood your post ? Which is not really that difficult to do is it as your English is shoddy to say the least, are you trying to say we've bought players in January from teams around us just so it leaves them at a disadvantage for the rest of the season ?

before the january transfer window, the transfer deadline was either april or may, so if man utd were struggling to get the points for to the win league they go and buy a striker a midfielder. u did buy carrick from spurs and at the spurs were doing well then carrick moves to man utd, spurs then struggles. man utd have a history of tapping up players.

By my reckoning that's 8 major trophies within the last ten years.....everything except the league. Now i do concede that the vast majority of our history is over 20 years ago but we've still done ok recently enough, though not as well as we'd have liked obviously. So your post should be amended slightly

man city wasted £100m+ to get into the nonentity cup that is the europa league.

as does everyone in football but it's more commonly known as making a transfer, just the opposing fans and team bitching because another team shown a legal interest in one of their players.
