Babestation OSG

From 2:29 to 3:36 on Xtra this morning, there was a continuous banner across the bottom of the screen, saying that Xtreme is now only £3.



Surely, nearly 70 minutes is too long to be taking up a third of the screen? (plus the usual boxes too)

What about the other side of the coin? To get any callers at all they first need to have viewers.

We on this forum probably represent the diehards of their viewing public, and many of our members have said that they no longer watch or call because of the OSG obstructions and the ad interruptions. If we're this pissed off it's a fair bet that a very large proportion of casual viewers (i.e. potential callers), most of whom don't even know this forum exists, take one look and quickly flick over to another channel and never come back. Cellcast might well be losing far more business than any they're creating. 'Babestation' claims that receipts are up, but with ever more viewers turning to digital and discovering the channels for the first time, that's almost inevitable.

In this ever-moving market they have no way of judging the true effect of their actions.

We on this forum probably represent less that 0.1% of Babestations viewing public literaly. People need to understand that Babestation don't give a shit what people say on here.

Surely there is someone (like Ofcom eg) where we can officially complain about the aggressive advertising on BS? Then the numpties MIGHT take notice!!

If it were left to Ofcom mate there would only be one black box,and that would cover the entire screen

Message to 'babestation' (on the off chance that you still read this thread):

As it is now evident that the pre-Xmas promise of revised graphics was just a fob-off in an attempt to keep us quiet, could one of you please get a message of some sort to the studio crew asking them to tell the cameramen about the existence and position of the black boxes?

to be fair, we wouldn't waste our time fobbing you off to try and keep you quiet, you lot would always find something else to moan about

new graphics are coming, other projects have got in the way and launching a whole new playout/moderation system isn't a simple task. do you want us to rush it out and have black boxes all over it as we didn't have time to make the necessary components?
