Its naive for anyone to believe that Ofcom will only find a babe channel broadcast to be in breach if they receive a complaint from the public or another channel. Whether they are supposedly 'allowed' to or not, they absolutely will and do raise breaches based on their own 'findings'.

Well that would violate their own code as they are meant to be impartial.

True, but unfortunately they're not and they do. It'd be naive to believe otherwise.

Since Bangs demise Elite have lost a main competitor and have gained Sammie p, Fernanda, Gemma Hiles & Emma Spellar & recently added a third daytime channel, making complaints against another channel has been good for Elite in that regard.

Yes making complaints against another channel has worked out rather well for Elite , but channels that do this should remember a couple of old sayings ,"what goes round comes round" and "those who live by the sword die by the sword" . While channels are constantly making complaints about their competitors there is only ever going to be one winner and at the end of the day that winner will be Ofcom .

The thing is, that if one channel is getting investigated, while another channel is getting away with much more, then sure, that can make the other channel want to stand up for itself and tell ofcon where the real offenses are happening, but it's still bad to do that. Telling on another channel because they are showing more will only hurt that show and annoy the fans.

We have enough to worry about with ofcon on their backs, so it would be very stupid if the channels went under because they all are attacking each other. How stupid would that be?

Why go anywhere else?

elite also has the best picture and set quality.

elite is just the best channel even if its shows minus sammies are not up to par latley

Do any of you guys know if the new rules have had any impact on the amount of calls,if so by how much.

Its just that when flicking through the channels,it seems to me they are all still busy.
