Slow boards help!!!... check here

Its very slow at present, even using chrome (firefox is even worse), but there were 1029 users on a few minutes ago.
Not seen any error messages though, just "Waiting for http://www.babeshows.co.uk...." in the status bar most of the time.

It all seems nice and fast this morning, even with firefox, at 11am, 693 users at present

Its slowed down quite a bit in the last hour, but its a lot better than it was at the same time last night.
I've been able to use firefox all day today, unlike yesterday when I had to use Chrome.
1055 users on at present.

Logging off now until tomorrow, before it slows down anymore.

i was on earlier and the site was slow but it seems to be responding better now, the speed is decent at the moment

At least watching "the forum should be running normally again" scroll across the screen does give you something to do while waiting for your page to load.

It should not be as slow as this. There is only 840 users on at present and there were less on an hour or so ago. I've seen it much faster in the past with higher user numbers. It is almost unusable at present even using Chrome instead of firefox, which is unusable at present.

The Watcher has just said what I was going to.

Why is it so bad now, with less guests, than it was a last week, when we had more?

Although it might be nice if you could change the scrolling message to say " Forum Fucked - Come Back Later" it might put off those guests that can read from browsing.

Its just shot up to full speed for me a minute ago

me too...Its almost like the more we moan, the quicker it gets......(My Mrs should ignore this comment)

Well maybe the new server needs time to settle down, but the forum has been very slow for me over the last day or so. Tonight (now) it's virtually unusable, with each new page taking about a minute to load.
