Are u for real??? The ONLY manager that lost the support of the LFC fans was Roy Hodgson. He didnt endear himself to begin with by sucking up to Fergie, then he didnt deliver the results and the final straw was when he criticized his own supporters. The previous 7 managers before him were Benitez, Houllier, Evans, Souness, Dalglish, Fagan, Paisley and Shankly. EACH and EVERY one of them won silverware for the football club. Even in the dark days under Souness' reign he always had an affinity with the supporters and they always respected him. Any ex manager has always been treated with respect by the LFC supporters and the proof of that (as astonv will agree no doubt) was shown when Villa came to anfield last month and Houllier was nearly brought to tears with the wonderful reception he got

So when some guy, who obviously doesnt know what he's talking about, comes on here to a Liverpool FC thread and says kopites will turn on the manager because "its what they do best", it insults the football club and its supporters and it shows how small minded fans of less successful clubs can be.

are you for real.

last season a lot of you were begging for rafa to be sacked. and now when the boy woy failed you all bang the tune of "we never wanted him to leave honest"

history lesson number two.
you turned on houllier at the end as well i remember it well as i thought what a overdemanding bunch you are. the man won you many trophys and you still werent satisified, thus the board got rid of him (mutual consent is bollocks he was fired)


history lesson number three.

souness was hated by a vast percentage of your fans for posing in the sun after his heart operation. and before he left he was the victim of the same treatment rafa got.

For someone who isnt a fan, you have a lot of "history" (and i use that term loosely) on Liverpool FC dont you?? It must take up a lot of your time gathering information on how to attack the club. Would you not be better off worrying about the direction your own football club is going?? The saying people living in glass houses shouldnt throw stones springs to mind.


As regards the trophys post you made...i belatedly got the point you were making and deleted the comment in reply to it, so my bad!!!

I think we should let the talking be done ON THE PITCH Sunday. I'll accept the banter if Everton win. If Liverpool win then you'll have all these posts to answer to!!!

compare trophy cabinets master yoda?we all know uv won more european trophys then any other english club but domestically havent man united won more fa cups and arent they level on league titles as well so to my knowledge so they are the most succesful club domestically are they not? maybe it will be 19 titles soon, who knows!

Yes but it was you who started mentioning trophys won and you are an Everton fan so Man Utd dont really figure in this debate. Cant believe a scouser is bigging-up the mancs!!!!

you mentioned counting trophys master yoda and im not a scouser but im allowed to have an opinion. im not an evertonian or a manc either, im more in 2 rugby but i have watched alot of football in my life. i was just stating a fact about whos won what but got alot of respect for liverpool fc and how they do things and what they've done. i will have an unbiased view on liverpool cos i dont support them but i dont hate them either, but yeah truce if you want..no probs.

I gathered (incorrectly it seems) from an earlier post that you were an Evertonian. You surely understand though, that i'll defend my club to the very end when i feel somebody is having a pop at it, which is what a lot of guys have done on this thread lately. I know it comes with the territory
