Elite's obsession with fishnets seems to be reaching new heights of silliness as 2010 draws to a close.

Charlie is wearing two sets of fishnets (a red set over a white set... yes very festive) while otherwise totally nude.
I don't get that at all, unless she's meant to look like she's been shagging Spiderman?

Apart from anything else, it means you get the disadvantages of nudity (limited movement and 'safe' positions etc)
and at the same time the disadvantages of covered! (lack of actual nudity, niche appeal clothing).

Obviously fishnets have a market (and obviously they hold a fascination for the channel boss) but their appeal is nothing like as universal as e.g. stockings and suspenders (for example) so hopefully 2011 on Elite will be a little bit less fishnetty..!

Edit - So as not to end the year on an all-out moaning post, I'll just add that Charlie's oil show from earlier was very enjoyable despite the fishnets

agree the fishnets have got ott at times. wouldnt mind seeing tights/stockings on babes. but think elite was the best babechannel of 2010 and hope they have a good 2011
