Well, good evening/morning everybody, I've missed most of what was yesterday stuck in one of the most God-awful, mind-numbing training seminars I've been to in a very long time, then had the delights of trying to log in on a long train journey home, only for the signal to go off every 30 seconds. I managed to reply to one PM when the train stayed still long enough to type and managed to get the webstream to load up for just long enough to see Fernanda's knockers!

I didn't get the chance to reply to the guy who asked "will Adele be on tonight" and just as well because I would have replied "probably not" but seeing her on is a pleasant surprise to accompany my late night.....can't decide between a large glass of port or a brandy.

I also haven't had a chance to digest the various postings and PMs about the vote (although I see Adele is about 5 behind) so I won't reply to those until I have and I'm afraid it won't be tonight as I'm falling asleep already and have to be up and out again in about seven hours time.

Buggar, she's gone on break. Just as I'd opened a new pack of kitchen roll.....

So, it wasn't to be, and the final margin of defeat was eight votes, but for somebody with such a relatively low profile and fanbase to get 47% of the vote in a straight fight with Caty Cole is a great performance and all of us in the Adele fanclub thank you.

And let's not forget to say well done to Caty - she's a great girl and this was never anything against her, it was to boost Adele, irrespective of who she came up against.

Now the good news - Adele's put her disappointment behind her and come out for the THIRD NIGHT IN A ROW!!
