Shanks and Paisley were obviously way before my time but they're the men that made our club great.Shankly laid the foundation for Paisley to achieve what he did.6 leagues, 3 European cups,UEFA Cup and 3 League Cups in 9 years!please dont tell me Fergies better.Ferguson wouldn't get away with those remarks against a Bill Shankly Liverpool side.He would've ran through a wall for our city.

This seriously fucks me off mate, Rafa needed to change a lot of things with the team, but as he's stubborn as fuck which didn't help but some of the press pricks couldn't wait to have a dig at him. I remember Liverpool didn't have a game one week but i think it was Steven Howard in the Sun still had to have a dig at Rafa.
Even when Phil Brown was at Hull & they'd only won something like 1 of their last 28 games over 2 seasons yet they didn't say shit about him.
Arsene Wenger, Arsenal haven't won a trophy for about 6 years & i doubt they will ever win another premier league title under him due to the lack of fight in the team yet they don't say shit about Arsenal.

Oh Liverpool's premier league title challenge is over by November once again... Err Liverpool have only ever challenged for the premier league once & that was the season before Alonso left. Why do people think we're gonna challenge let alone win it when in the 18 years since it was formed we've only challenged for it once...

To be honest i think all the Journalists of a certain age are probably still jealous of the clubs success from back in their day so come with a more unprofessional & more personal point of view.

dont need an excuse when your 3rd in the league pal, you need money to rebuild a team something you dont have unless your building a team to compete with fulham, sunderland, villa etc for the 7th europa spot ? and i hope your not planning on rebuilding around torres coz that boy will be long gone in the summer

i get where your coming from but im a united fan so ov course im gonna say ferguson is better and on hodgson's lack of fight maybe you should send him some dvd's of the paisley and shankly legacy - it could help

I've noticed due to the respect the press have for Roy Hodgson they are now turning their attention to Torres, people need to give him a break.. Literally since 2006 he's only had 1 full break.

no what im sayin is 3rd is good enough for five games in considering we conceding more goals than id like atm and i think my fellow united fans will agree with that my friend. giggs will easily be replaced scholes is different matter, there's only cesc who's as good as him in this league. im sure fergie will sort a replacement out before he retires. one difference between rooney and torres and that is rooney is struggling form in a WINNING team so that will cheer him up were as torres is struggling for form in a LOSING team and looks like he wants to top himself lol not good........................NEXT LOL
