I thought it was called BABEstation, not the Lolly show, she seems to have been on all night, dont agree with giving certain Pornstars all the air time

I never have understood the offence caused by the ever-so-taboo c-word. It just seems as though it's been adopted as offensive, with people following the flock and automatically agreeing that it is. Ask these people why the word is so offensive and they look at you bewildered. Fact is no one can give a good reason why it's deemed so offensive... which proves that it's no more offensive than any other swear word, doesn't it?

Sadly, we live in a world where taking offence has become a competitive sport, and where people seem to think that they have a fundamental right not to be offended.

How about a desensitisation programme of round the clock "The Thick of It” (sorry, Vila), alternating with “Deadwood", for all those easily offended, sensitive souls?

I think we live in a world where causing offence has become a competitive sport, as in Censorship's excellent example, The Thick of It, where a tirade of "f*ck" and "c*nt" won it a BAFTA.

Many stand-up comics seem to think that all they have to do to be funny is get up on stage and pour out a string of swearwords. Yes, people laugh, but people laugh for many reasons - two of them being uncertainty and embarrassment.

I think people have a right to be offended when swearing occurs in inappropriate circumstances - such as when it's used in comedy as some sort of misguided substitute for wit. Explicit sexual language could hardly be regarded as inappropriate or out of context on a sex chat show.

Yes I hate those kind of comics. If you take the swearwords out of their routines there's almost nothing left.

guys I think you're blowing swearing on the mic out of proportion a little bit

is it really necessary for the girls to swear on mic? what would it add to your viewing enjoyment?

Like I said, I'd rather they didn't swear, but it still doesn't excuse the silliness with allowing them to say and do most things, yet they can't say the F word, or C word on some stations.

Probably because she draws the most callers, she's very popular and Babestation is a business after all.

She's off on her hols now anyway, but, a look at tonight's line-up gives you an idea of what a hole she leaves when she's not on. There are only 2 girls that I want to see, but, much as I like them, I know that there will be other nights where they will be part of a better line-up where I'd want to watch the entire show rather than flicking between BS and other dire late night TV till somebody I actually want to watch turns up.
