It was called CHM TEST on ch804.
It was actually a test transmission for the forthcoming Channel m, which is for Greater Manchester viewers like myself. According to the info, it is already transmitted on Sky 203 and Virgin 878.
It used to be transmitted on analogue channel 39 before the digital switchover, but I never got a good signal then since it was not transmitted from Winter Hill, but from somewhere in central Manchester and my aerial points the wrong way for that.

Is there any fanny on it?

Pity. Mancurian girls do brush up pretty well.

Channel 99 now transmitting BS2 instead of Live 960/Live 99 , probably to make way for the new BS Xtream show .

Horay!! I was hoping they'd do that - I noticed, instead of my usual recording of the last 30 mins of BS1, beginning with a short (and regrettable) clip of Club99, it was all BS2!

So is Club99 finally gone for good?

Lacey for Prime Minister! (Be honest, could she do a worse job than the present incumbent)

I can't believe they called "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" that - it should be called, "I Can't Believe They Claim This Tastes Like Butter."
...or, "I can't believe it's not axle-grease"

RE: Freeview channel changes
I'm expecting channels 94 and 96 to swap identities, so we'll have BS1 back on Ch 94 again and BSXtreme on what is now Ch 94 (in place of BS2), but re-named as Ch 96. What they do with Ch 95 will depend on whether BSXtra is retained, but it would be logical to put BS2 there eventually.

If Live 99 has gone my only regret will be not seeing any more of Chelsea French.

I wish I'd read your post before editing and saving what I thought was a complete recording of last night's Freeview BS2 (Ch 94). I'd already filled the dvd before discovering I had the last half hour recorded from Ch 99! annoyed

RE: Freeview channel changes
While watching Jada on BS Xtra, a message came up saying to retune Freeview so that BS2 is on 95. I've done it several times now and all the channels are still the same. I'm hoping that if BS2 is going to be on 95 that it will start at 12 again.

Can anyone shed any light on this!?
