The British team lost their appeal to CAS regarding not being able to be able to wear their new helmets because they do not comply with the sport's rules around shape.

But Cas say the helmet is a departure from the standard helmet shape and has clearly been designed to specifically enhance aerodynamic performance because the back of the helmet protrudes.

They are going to wear the existing helmets that they have previously worn.

Alas not.
They would have to win their semi final to guarantee at least a Silver.
If they lost the semi final they would face a bronze medal match.

I'm not into sport. Either doing or watching. There i said it. But.... i have much more respect for the winter Olympians than the running, jumping, throwing, swimming brigade of the summer crowd. Much more skill and much more danger of getting injured with "winter" sports. I was watching the ice dancing and they make professional footballers look like moronic meatheads, which they are lol. But sport, like politics, finds the level of it's biggest audience....
