The Sky at Night meets Curious Cases
An end of series crossover live audience Q&A, as 3 of the former team meet Dara and Hannah from the latter to banter pretty much, with obligatory "Pete's left in his garden" ending. Back in the Spring. Let's hope there's still a BBC/world when they do.

Joe Wicks - Licensed To Kill
Fitness dude challenges food labelling antics by producing ultimate deadly health food bar, called Killer, with help from Dr Chris van Tulleken. It reminded me a lot of the Hairy Bikers series for KitKat just before the pandemic, and also Channel 5 did a similar stunt, even earlier, with some glasses-wearing comic producing an especially revolting pie that still met food standards.

1/4 Looking at children's literature in this series, this opener considered Alice in Wonderland, Swallows and Amazons, and then the grim real-life dramas caused by Winnie the Pooh.
W
2/4 Peter Pan, the Tale of Peter Rabbit, The Railway Children and the Secret Garden. Plus again, grimmer real-life dramas of authors, especially chicks.

12.6 One of those weeks which remind me how much I disagree with the judges, who shortlisted ALL the Beth Rigby efforts, despite them being so lousy, and picked a winner that made her look fit for Sesame Street.
Shane Lynch had at least 2 portraits that would have looked fine in a museum, whilst Gabby Logan perhaps suffered as someone last week painted Emily so it finished looking like Gabby.
PAotY 2025
12.7 Better results from better sitters, as Jack Dee, Jacob Collier and Fatiha El-Ghorri lead to good results and a half-decent shortlist, with a previous contestant not doing any better, and a curious gimmick winner.

Last Week Tonight w/John Oliver
The dangerous lunacy of felony murder, and a "good riddance" to Eric Adams.

The Daily Show w/Jon Stewart
His fury at the Shutdown Surrender, and a chat to 2 Democrat representatives ahead of Veteran's Day.

The easy format wobbles here when they keep talking about the Secret Garden and the Railway Children, then they struggle to be nice about Enid Blyton and Rudyard "dead kids" Kipling, before tackling more real-life traumas with Kenneth Grahame.
