The Venezuelan opposition leader was awarded for "for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy," the Norwegian Nobel Committee said in its citation.

I mean yeah, an actual public servant trying to do the right thing for her people, selflessly no less. Nice one

So, it turns out the winner once described Orange as a visionary, apparently, I am hoping it was lip service to keep him onside rather than actual admiration, because fucks sake.
Still, it doesn't mean she isn't deserving, just means that like many other people, she knows how to placate a man with a fragile ego and low IQ.

Well that should be his lot wit the Peace Prize,
he'll probably now set hie sights on a honorary knighthood from the King next...or a honorary doctorate from the open University lol

Also he needs to have a word with himself in front of a mirror. (If he can do it without breaking one)
he needs to be a more credible & honest President now (unlikely). get rid of the tango (even more unlikely), and stop playing golf (not gonna happen) lol

But......but........but he is a visionary.
His vision is so good he can see past all his own trillions of lies and mistakes like nobody else in human history

It's not over yet.
Nominations are made in January, so tango wasn't really in the running this year because he wasn't even in office then.

Next year though ....

Unpopular opinion but if this ceasefire deal in Gaza is a success, and that's a big if, it would certainly be more worthy of the peace prize than anything Machado or Obama did in order to get theirs.

The Pro column wouldn't be Trump's problem it's that the Con column has: ICE snatching people off streets, sending the national guard into your own cities, threatening to invade Greenland, bombing Iran and increasing military action in the Caribbean over Venezuelan cartels, renaming your department of defence the department of war and counting

Machado calling Trump a visionary is probably to do with the fact that the United States is the only country that has the leverage to end the Chavez-Maduro regime in Venezuela.

The way he behaves at home should cancel out any possible nomination, wannabe dictators shouldn't be rewarded for the good when they do so much more bad.
