RE: Keir Starmer - and his miserable government
this wasnt about helping people back into work it was a cost cutting exercise

if they wanted to fix it and get people back to work then get the NHS and mental health services up to scratch as someone who is waiting months and months for a follow up appt for Respiratory specialist and ii had to go out of county to greater manchester because i would have had to wait about a year and a half for an appointment . its got so bad my nurse in the GP said hope for a decent flu season to cut the waiting lists.

my job coach says im far from the norm think the after effects of covid will be here for a few years more

RE: Keir Starmer - and his miserable government
Everyone moaned when the Conservatives spent huge amounts of cash on Energy Bill support and paying people to sit at home during Covid even though the country would have been properly fucked if they didn't. IMVHO anyone who benefitted from furlough should have an adjustment to their tax code to start paying some of it back, but that's a different topic...

Then they voted the Conservatives out because they were basically a rotting corpse and Labour in, even though the signs were there that this lot were utterly clueless because let's be honest, any potential PM who has the likes of Rayner & Lammy lined up for big jobs is obviously an idiot. Now, after a year, the Great British Electorate are whining yet again.

So now it's time to make your minds up what you actually want, because if you don't like Labour or the Conservatives and lets face it the LibDims are clueless, then the remaining alternative is one you're definitely not going to enjoy.

Behold the field in which I grow my fucks. Lay thine eyes upon it and thou shalt see that it is barren.

^^ or if all the tory cunts who made fortunes on Dodgy PPE and other scams should either give it back or spend 20 years in Jail

Michelle Mone was the tip of the iceberg !!!

Not to mention all those grifters who then got paid for Hotels for immigrants who im guessing who were making a lot more than if they acutually let just the rooms out. some hotels were filled and then they got rid of all there staff meaning they were raking it in more and more

hopefully in time all these who voted reform in the councils will see what a useless bunch of fuckers they are

and hoprfully seeing the US fall apart will act as a warning to these

It's been an absolute shit show from Labour, who had the advantage of a free hand in a guaranteed election win. They really should've heeded Mick Lynch's advice both pre and post election, an actually very canny and articulate guy unfairly smeared by certain sections of the media as one of the evil 'union barons' ready take Britain back into the winter of discontent.

What he said was simple. Britain's infrastructure and services are broken and needs A LOT of money to fix it. And the only way to genuinely to raise that kind of money is raising taxes on those who can pay it. Not by cutting welfare and benefits and pushing people furthey into poverty, the sums raised was never going to be remotely enough plus very politically damaging as you didn't need to be Nostradamus to predict. And neither from economic growth still hamstrung by Brexit and now further from external factors like Ukraine and Trump hurtling about on a three wheeled trolley. Reeves handicapping herself with her so called fiscal rules was never going to work and now the inevitable tax rises will have to come without damaging further borrowing.

If they were upfront pre election about the need for tax rises, sure they'd be moans but likely also acceptance on the condition that services really do get fixed. I honestly think they got bounced into the promise not raise the 'tax of working people' by Sunak taunting that all the Labour do is tax, despite him and his party raising the tax burden themselves to record (and nothing too show for it).

Now Labour simply look like a party who cannot be trusted with their word on anything. The very stuff people voted out. It's a hard label to peel off. All self inflicted. And yes handing the keys to Reform, who are already causing chaos in their own party and councils from the looks of it.

^So, why are people (according to the opinion polls) not turning en-mass to the Greens who have the policies supporting these things, rather than Reform? Who, if they get power will screw us over in an even worse manner.

I always feel the only way is for US to have coalitions for a few years and not let one party have majority in Government, that ideas are pooled and shared and MP's working together as one for the good of the country? it would be the only way they would listen to Us the people about what we want done.

RE: Keir Starmer - and his miserable government
I have a degree of sympathy with the governments position, ducks to avoid getting pelted, if you imagine the country's economy & public sector as an arable farm: austerity burnt down the crops, brexit salted the earth, covid irradiated the soil & then Truss & Kwarteng came & dropped a massive steaming shite ontop and not the kind that had any fertilising value, this was shite without any redeemable features other than it was the nail in the coffin for The Tories in power.

Not only did Labour inherit a monumental mess but thanks to the jitters around the 10 yr bonds & interest rates at over 4% (not all the tories fault) their ability to tackle that mess has been diminished. They were barely in the door 6 months and people were gettig angry that Labour weren't cleaning up somebody elses shit the way the public wanted it.

The problem that they have where a lot of that sympathy erodes is that the wounds that they are suffering are largely self inflicted and a lot of it seems to be around in an attempt to prove themselves fiscally credible they are giving off thr impression as being more of the same as the tories which the public don't want.

To be fair though, how werr Labour supposed to know that the public wanted that, its not like chnage was the only word on their manifesto or anything bladewave

If i could find a girl that had the looks of Gal Gadot, breasts of Sophie Mudd with Demi Rose's ass, the personality of Jessica Ennis, the grace of Kendall Jenner on the red carpet and then behind closed doors the raw sexual energy of Nicole Snow i'd know i was dead and gone to heaven, so i'll just take Demi Rose's ass and Nicole's sexual energy
