So the mood struck me and I placed a call for the first time in over a year. I’d stopped calling because the risk of them taking a private and going off-screen in the middle of the call had just become too high. It happens waaaaay too often.

Amazingly, we had barely said hello when — you guessed it — she took a private and went off screen! (…serves me right, tbh)

I immediately wrote to customer service and they responded pretty promptly, and refunded the credits with no questions asked. Hint: when this happens, you should always ask for your credits back, and they should always comply. Regulation of premium rate phone services has reverted back to Ofcom and this practice is a flagrant breach of their code of conduct.

But none of that is the interesting bit. The interesting thing is that I politely asked (yet again) what Babestation’s policy was on girls taking privates while they have a caller on the line. I have asked them the same question virtually every time this has happened. And every single time, they respond promptly, refund my credits … and ignore the question. They diligently avoid putting any response to that question in writing.

What do you make of that?

^^ What I make of this it's that BS are so fuckin cocky that they believe the are above the law. I wouldn't mind betting that they actively encourage their babes to flaunt this rule. They must be comfortable that only a small percentage of punters bother to ask for refunds & when you think about it the caller that gets cut off & refunded, that refund will be a tiny amount compared to what they make by the private that ensued after being cut off.
I wonder if as well as asking for a refund, should punters report being ripped off to the regulators Ofcom & if there are enough cases would Ofcom issue a fine. It would have to be heavy enough to deter BS from continuing with this practice.
The fact is that callers are at the bottom of the food chain when it comes to the services that an operator like BS provides, the business is not sustainable with calls alone like it once was, but that is no excuse to not plat fair.

^^^Of course, I agree that the business is now no longer sustainable on calls alone. Especially, for an operation with the scope of BS. Every little factoid we've learnt over the years, everything about the shape the larger operators' services have taken on, tells even the casual observer that this is so. More: That call rates are in a longterm (possibly terminal) decline. Even the struggles a minnow like XP is going through - and the changes they're trying to make as a result - tell you XP's size and lower call rates are no longer a protection from that.

For me though, the more interesting idea follows on from that: Why then do so many of the BS streams still have a call-based option? With all these other options being granted the largesse of the sort Goodfella describes, why haven't they dumped the phone aspect by now? Why are they still seemingly reliant on them..? Could it be because they're FUCKING REQUIRED to make all the other bullshit function?!

At the very least it seems calls are more important to this industrty than in terms of their straight monetary contribution to it. And, as such, doing the dirty on callers as much as this industry does represents an utterly moronic shortsightedness on its behalf.

When looked at this way, every user should being asking for the conflict of options to stop because it damages not only the service's reputation with callers, but the viability of what we ALL - it seems - wish the shows to continue looking like!

As for the lack of answers to direct questions coming out of customer service... This now appears to be standard operating procedure for businesses that are wary of being found out in one way or another: Don't put anything down in writing WHERE IT CAN BE USED AGAINST YOU. Why bother empowering/schooling lowly admin staff and even making a defendable policy when you can get away with saying fuck all?! Merely give in to the base of what will satisfy individual complainers and be done with it each time. As boom said, what's the likelihood, even if it got to Ofcom, they would pursue such complaimts with anything like the vigor they do with content complaints? It all sitinks, and should be used as a warning about which company's we pay into.

Beth in the shower on TV last night. She pulled her knickers further and further down before taking them off completely. It was only for a few seconds at the end and the cameraman was very cautious but we got enough of a side on view to see that she was completely fucking naked.

I think I know the answer but is this a sign that the hated restrictions could be easing? ?

Lori was also in TV with no knickers on. The camera kept above her waist but still interesting, very interesting...
