Caligula, with Mary Beard
Was the short-lived maniac Roman emperor all that bad? Yes. Though he maybe didn't actually make a horse into a Senator for real.

Meet the Press
Kristen Welker takes over, and gets an interview with Donald Trump to fill much time, and for much "fact-checking" interruptions.

Series 16, baby! Cool
Discovering: Kate Winslet
As in earlier series, there are links between episodes where subjects have made the same film.

The Bottom Line
Steve Clemons marks 30 years of the Oslo Accords by talking (separately) to an Israeli and a Palestinian for how they view the situation and what the way forward might look like.

2/3 Rustie gets to make a Chicken Kiev Kyiv from scratch, their lab scientist gets to make the flavouring of Pickled Onion Monster Munch, plus larks with Arctic Roll, Vesta Curries, prawn cocktail and the Cornetto.
Sot7S
3/3 The final one saw Rusty making Bangers n Smash, which some random "michelin-starred" chef then couldn't tell the difference from the same meal made with proper potatoes. She also got to make a Fray Bentos-style pie from scratch. Elsewhere the story of discounting, "Asda price", out of town shopping, barcodes and the Honey Monster.

Overall a fascinating series, though perhaps more if you're of a certain age.

So, from Kings Cross to Brighton. Ian manages not to mention William Hartnell AT ALL, and only briefly mentions Hermione Baddeley. You'd think it was just Dickie Attenborough in a one-man show.
Classic Movies - The Story of The Graduate
Ian failed to get to go to Los Angeles. He raved about Anne Bancroft, though.

Art on the BBC: The Great Salvador Dali
Dr David Dibosa fronted an archive raid, mainly slagging off a plethora of previous docs on the legendary surrealist, from Alan Yentob to Alastair Sooke to Andrew Graham-Dixon, as well as having a few other contributors also offering scathing assessments. Dali advertised Alka-Seltzer Tongue
