After last week's trip to Vienna, Ian only gets as far as Kings Cross this time. Unlike the previous edition, this is a film I've not seen. Good to see they've got a new face among the reviewers, though.
Classic Movies - The Story of Brighton Rock
So, from Kings Cross to Brighton. Ian manages not to mention William Hartnell AT ALL, and only briefly mentions Hermione Baddeley. You'd think it was just Dickie Attenborough in a one-man show.

6.2 A secret lake in Dumfries & Galloway, and then a private spot near Kinmont House. They both caught pikes, and spent a night in a haunted accommodation, leading to them practicing their "death faces".
M&W: GF
6.3 Back to part of the river Avon to try for roach, which Paul manages, though Bob gets a chub, and Ted gets a date supposedly.

Face to Face - Kevin Brennan MP
A Welsh series of one-on-one interviews, here with a Blair-worshipper who's apparently so busy in his job, he's just released his first LP.

Global Public Square
FZ interviews retiring General Mark Milley about general military stuff, and also a biographer of Elon Musk about whether his upbringing explains and justifies the way he is now.

1/3 Point and laugh at the decade of home freezers and decimalisation! See Rustie Lee making Crispy Pancakes from scratch (well, not the filling)! Doze off as Debbie McGee seems to be the only "celeb" able to offer any memories of the convenience foods of the time (Paul Daniels loved a Pot Noodle - make up your own punchline about magic)!

2/3 Rustie gets to make a Chicken Kiev Kyiv from scratch, their lab scientist gets to make the flavouring of Pickled Onion Monster Munch, plus larks with Arctic Roll, Vesta Curries, prawn cocktail and the Cornetto.

HARDtalk: Yuval Noah Harari
Stephen Sackur talks to a Jewish academic who is part of the protests in Israel against the judicial reforms etc. Sackur, in another bizarre bit of BBC both-sides-ism, tries to suggest Harari is a bigger menace to society in his protest than the maniacs in power. He does get him on to his deeply pessimistic views on AI to finish, so a casual viewer would probably dismiss him as a crank.
