I'd say, overall, that this is much better than Vikings, so far I haven't had much, if any disappointment, where as with Vikings a couple of things bugged me every now and again. Great cast and set piece battles, nothing over the top and just seems to have found a really good balance. If you haven't checked it out, I would recommend you give it a go. I have season 5 ready to go already.
Sad they are ending the tv show at 5, but if the movie(s) to finish the books is/are as well made, it'll be all good.

I'm tempted to buy the books.

Realised after I missed the final where they painted Barry Humphries ("what colour?" ho ho). Here, the winner Calum Stevenson, from That Scotland, got to paint Nicola Benedetti. Nice work etc

Such are repeats, managed to catch the one with Barry Humphries, who made a great sitter, and even started a sketch of the three finalists. His choice and the judges' choice were as one, though I think I might have given the nod to one of the others.

5 - Gorgione's The Tempest, alas a painting I don't much know, by a painter I don't much know. Waldo deduced it was quite grim.
