I find this hard to believe... how did he book himself strong ? by eliminating owens ? He wasnt in there long and how has shane all of the sudden got booking power ? I find this all very odd doesnt make much sense

^^ all the usual wrestling news sites are reporting the info about him, it's coming from people who are proven to have reliable sauces in wwe,
He's only been on a talent contract since 2009 when he was fired from evp but managed to persuade dad to give him one more chance and that's how he got to book the rumble ,
We all know Vince would have signed off all his ideas but also know Vince isn't taking any blame for the horror show the rumble turned into the the massive backlash from the fans there has been this week,

Was he even under contract? Not that i really put too much weight into what any of these so-called trusted sources say after the Riddle and Lashley nonsense stories they reported in the last few days, but the main theme of the bad feeling towards Shane seem to be due to his spots with Riddle and burying a producer the talent trust in Jamie Noble.

All seems like a very embellished story

He booked himself too strong making himself a final 4 member you could have argued a case for about 3 quarters of the other Rumble competitors over Shane to be part of the final 4, wouldn't surprise me if when he was writing the scripting on the Rumble he put 'when Brock enters make it look like amateur mode on fifa for him'

He booked himself too strong making himself a final 4 member you could have argued a case for about 3 quarters of the other Rumble competitors over Shane to be part of the final 4, wouldn't surprise me if when he was writing the scripting on the Rumble he put 'when Brock enters make it look like amateur mode on fifa for him'

Who cares if he was final 4 you dont get anything for it nor does it mean anything santino marella was the runner up in 2011...
I could understand if he came out number one and eliminated everyone like brock did 2 years ago but he didnt he came out at 28 for a pop eliminated owens then got tossed out...

they are saying he had been on a talent only contract for the last 10 years, seams he sold all his wwe shares so nor had a lot to do with it since, the rumble was his first time booking the action in a long time,
someone just pointed out his 90 days will be up just in time for AEW big summer PPV lol

the wwe has made getting to the last 4 a big thing in the last few years , they have conditioned the fans to see it as a big moment in a wrestlers journey, so thats why so many saw it as booking himself to strong,
he should have come in half way to get a crowd lifting pop but been will out the way before the business end of things
