Maria did not poll the most votes in Ultimate Babe.
Over all rounds including the final Michelle polled the most votes.

Michelle polled the most 'legal votes' in line with competition rules set out at the start of the comp

Whichever way you want to spin it Winners, Maria got the most votes.

The poll was launched on 9th December but had the convenient 'rule' that all voters had to be members by 6th November - introducing retrospective membership dates is hardly fair. Surely it would be better to announce this 'rule' well in advance of the launch?

As for Maria, she's a strong character who can speak for herself. She certainly doesn't need any sort of mouth piece but has been through a hell of lot with a deranged stalker. What she does perhaps need is a bit of fairer treatment on here & SM when it comes to people both passing judgement and making wild conjecture when they don't know any of the facts. Surely that's not too much to ask?

Winsaw's running of the award was totally transparent. So he must be congratulated in running successful and accurate competitions and not take nasty digs from you.

and just to point out the set date for membership has been in every ultimate vote i have ever run so i would say the same info being on show for over 5 years is well in advance,

Right, I have had enough of all this nonsense.

Lets sort it out once and for all.

The four winners of the quarter finals were:
Jennifer Kelly who polled 37 legal votes
Caty Cole who polled 34 legal votes
Maria Smith who polled 34 legal votes
Michelle Moist who polled 31 legal votes.

So at this stage Jennifer had polled the most votes.

The semi final winners were:
Caty Cole who polled 35 legal votes giving her an aggregate knockout round total of 69 votes by this point.
Michelle Moist who polled 35 legal votes giving her an aggregate knockout round total of 66 votes.
For the record Maria Smith polled 32 legal votes and had an aggregate vote total of 66 votes.
The aggregate vote leader by the end of the semi finals was Caty with 69.

So we can now see that Maria Smith did NOT poll the most legal votes in the quarter final OR the semi final OR on a combined aggregate of both.

In the final Michelle polled 33 legal votes.
Caty polled 21 legal votes.

Final aggregate scores:
Michelle 99
Caty 90.

Regarding the allowed voter registration date rule.
Most important is that the rule is made clear at the inception of such a tournament. It was made clear by winsaw. Crystal clear.
On the basis he could never have known who the eight qualifiers would be for the knockout phase there is no possibility he could have artificially twisted the outcome of later rounds by virtue of a clearly stated competition rule that drew some degree of ire. This particular rule had been in place for some years in any event. How much notice does anyone need? A bloody decade?

Interesting that two of the guys who's votes weren't counted because they joined the forum after the contest had begun have only made 1 post each. Which was a vote.

They've never been seen before or seen since.

Can you not just delete the last 3 pages? It's absolute pathetic. Talk from the mods about nasty digs but them digs are all heading one way and that's the little forum clique towards one poster.

Well perhaps if that one poster had not repeatedly and indefensibly tried to question the integrity of a competition and its organiser all of this could have been avoided.
It is not acceptable to do this and wilfully try to distort the truth in such a way.
That sort of behaviour is reprehensibly desperate and the very same word you have used i.e pathetic.
