Caught this at last; quite fun really, perhaps Weller's most level-headed project. His hatred of Do They Know It's Christmas? is funny.

Tonight at 21.00, BBC4, The Sound of TV with Neil Brand.

I've seen a few documentaries with him and he seems to me to be a bit less of a stuffed shirt than some of them. Some of them start by saying they're going to look at contemporary and before you know it it's opera or the American song book or chamber music. I was click baited with a 5 second clip of The Kinks and conned basically, they're ramming highbrow down my throat because they know what's good for me.

Another thing he does is demonstrate on the piano, there's a bit more production value in his stuff than others.

This week it's the TV Theme Tune and next week it's jingles. There's a third show to follow.
