Have seen all 6 episodes as well (Season 1 is Called Siege) & thought it was really good and yep it’s a lot darker compared to the classic 1980’s animated cartoon in particular

Person Of Interest series 4 episode 11 "If-Then-Else"

One of my favourite episodes of the entire series. Good plot, emotional ending, get to see the thought processes of the machine and some quality humour thrown in for good measure.

Dennis Miller Plus One - Mike Mizanin
The Miz was plugging some show called Cannonball which sounds like a Total Wipeout rip-off, though naturally Miz didn't seem to think so. Looks like this will be the last one I see as the schedule has changed (back?)
