RE: Snooker
Liang Wenbo stunned Mark Selby. Lee Walker came close to doing well, but didn't.

I haven't seen a moustache like Ronnie's since Leonard Rossiter in Trippers day circa 1984

RE: Snooker
Ronnie made the game look ridiculously easy. His game hardly seemed at all rusty.
Just potted balls for fun all day.

RE: Snooker
Amusing scheduling so Ronnie was finished early, and the "crowd" had to sit through Georgiou-Hirani as their main event Wink

Been bemused by the number of guest commentators too - Ebdon, Perry, Dale, Doherty, etc

RE: Snooker
Ashley Carty won his group and knocked our Neil Robertson, Ken Doherty and Kurt Maflin in the process.
Went down to the last match between Carty and Doherty for the group win and the concluding 3-1 win for Carty was sealed after midnight.

RE: Snooker
Been generally really exciting, but I must miss the analysis, because some of the qualifiers seem a bit random (how did Harvey Chandler make it? I know Liang Wenbo put out Mark Selby).

Chandler bear Mark King & Sam Baird 3 -1 and drew 2-2 with Joe Perry

Ah, an easy group then. The two-table bit seems to mean you see EVERYTHING from one table and almost nothing from the other (except passing mentions from Phil Yates or someone).

So the final 4 are... Bingham, Brecel, Day and Woollaston?!?
