So what's left...it must have to do with the studio's 'telephone exchange' unfortunately.

Webstreams are highly dependent on how fast the streaming computer can encode video (which is primarily reliant on what processing power it has) and on that computer's internet connection speed (upload speed).

Increasing the stream resolution will not achieve much unless you have the encoding speed and connection speed to make the higher resolution work, as it will just lead to constant buffering. It's always better to have a low resolution steady picture rather than a high quality picture that appears to have frozen.

I've been busy with more important shit for a few months but I can barely contain my laughter watching S66 over the last few nights.

This would have been amateurish 10 years ago but these days it's laughable.

Yep it isn't exactly stirring the senses or any degree of imagination on S66 at present.
Shame. Oh well Huh

I get that they've had to go remote but it's not hard to sort out. There are cam Girls in the Colombian Jungle broadcasting in 1080p!

Professionalism. Personal pride. Business sense.

Plus many other things that don't exist at S66 Big Laugh

Exactly 1080p streaming requires a minimum of 5Mps upload bandwidth per stream (remember, there are 2 camera feeds for most of the girls) realistically, you should have 20Mbps upload bandwidth with a decent spec'ed machine and virtually nothing else running on it and a wired rather than a wireless connection for reliability.

Ok so where does the inadequacy lie please?
To what does 20Mbps upload bandwidth refer, is that the quality of their wifi?
This streaming computer, do you mean the babe's laptop that we see in shot or is that a machine at the studio to which the signal is sent from the camera?
How can it be that ALL of them have only 480p, could it be that an economically priced laptop is unlikely to be sufficiently spec'ed ?

The streaming computer is the computer the stream is coming from, which yes could be a laptop.

Ok so the inadequacies could be caused by a number of factors, from the girls personal laptops to their broadband upload speed or their home router not being able to handle the upload demands ( the 20Mps upload bandwidth is the "speed" to send information from person y's house to their ISP's) for my money it's down to how firecalls software handles those feed's. if you look on ramapant. anyone connecting from home tends to be poor quality as well. As far as I know ramparants parent company hosts the S66 site using firecall software ( i think I read it somewhere on the forums so feel free to correct me if i'm wrong on that) I think their servers are in Europe ( maybe Holland ?) the studio feeds are probably sent via satellite uplink to where the servers are and transmitted from there over the internet through s66's sites front end, while the home feed are sent via the internet to there servers to be broadcast over the net and this may result in the quality of some streams being reduced to save bandwidth.
