Man City v Arsenal postponed as a precautionary measure.
This is due to personnel from Arsenal FC having come into contact with the Olympiacos owner, Evangelos Marinakis, who has tested positive for Coronavirus.

^Saw that earlier, always knew the whole thing was an utter waste of time but that video just proved it. Hasn't stopped a single club from being overtaken my a colossal fuck wit who then goes on to utterly ruin said club even though it was supposedly meant to avoid such fuck wits taking over clubs.

Basically as long as you have no criminal conviction for fraud or any kind of money laundering as well as not on a sex offenders register your free to buy a football club in England. One of the reasons I'm not a huge fan of the PL, as it mentions it that video the whole fit and persons tests is in direct competition with the leagues own business growth potential, they secretly want big money foreign owners even if they potentially ruin a club in the process. They'd take punts on dubious people. Its important for PL clubs but its in someways even more so for the lower league clubs as they can be in big trouble easier and quicker. I guarantee a PL club will go boom after a fuck wit passes this test before anything even gets spoken about making this actually functional.

Think Coronavirus is trying to make Liverpool wait even longer for the Premier League Title , sorry i know it is a serious issue but i had to say it.

Don't worry you don't need to worry about Liverpool winning it. Nailed on cert the league will null and voided. Not sure how they'll sort out league position in terms of relegation but there won't be 2019-2020 champions.

Yeah it's a tough one they can't just promote teams it's unfair still it's the only way Leeds will ever get back into the PL , they can't just relegate teams to it's also unfair so what's going to happen to the relegation spots only 2 get relegated and 2 get promoted as they can't do the play offs we will leave it up to the football experts.

No idea, one thing is for sure lawsuits will be impending if clubs are relegated even though there's games still to play. Same with promotion, teams with a possibility of promotion only to ultimately not be allowed to play for a chance at it. PL with Liverpool is different, only 2 wins away from winning it but how do solve the rest?? Even top 4/5 depending on whether City are banned from UCL, Sheffield Utd could get relegated next but this year there within touching distance of UCL qualification. Same as Wolves. Very complicated situation, some are no doubt going to lose out and others may gain.

Don't the PL/FA ever carry out proper financial/police checks at all? If not, heads should roll at the PL/FA if they aren't being serious about making the fit and proper test being a proper test, the Government then should step in and force them to tighten the rules and make financial/and police checks a requirement. If a PL club goes bust that would send shockwaves right through the system. I would say many probably think Manchester Utd going bust would be huge

Well they do and they don’t. As was mentioned in the video the fit and proper person test only focuses really on criminal history, it’s the only way you’re guaranteed to not own a club, they do check finances and accounts but seeing how many clubs who’ve been taken over by a supposed rich fuck wit who then it’s turns out hasn’t got a pot to piss in I’m guessing it’s easily fiddled. Plus there’s nothing stipulating that the PL/FA hold the owners to there promises.

Only way the PL/FA will tighten it up and make it effective is if a major club suffers through someone passing this who shouldn’t pass it, someone like Utd for example. Even then it wouldn’t surprise me if it didn’t. The PL is solely focused around money, they’d love every club to be sold to foreign owners even if one or two are dodgy and ruin the clubs. Lower league clubs are the ones who’s suffered the most through the failing of the system, numerous clubs have gone into administration or worse.

I think the PL will only get real problems when the outrageous transfer bubble bursts and then suddenly clubs will no longer have the sort of money in the kitty that they have now.
