Star Trek: Discovery. Episode 5 - Hmm interesting this one, we find out more about Gabriel Lorca and discover the doctor and science bod are gay(or a couple) I felt sorry for the tardigrade but in the end Burnham jettisoned it into space - probably a moral in that don't experiment on sentient beings. Still going to stick with this and see how it pans out.

It does get better in the 2nd of half of series 1, I found the first half lacklustre myself but held out for it to improve and was pleasantly surprised.

Series 2 improves further also with, in my opinion, a more coherent story with a more interesting plot, some very good additions to the cast and just a more solid show overall, so definitely stick with it.

Biography series repeated over Christmas. This one featured such luminaries as Mickey Rourke, Ed "Al Bundy" O'Neill and Kobe Bryant (eerily enough).

A French Drama in the 'Walter presents' series - 'Just One Look' One episode only down, but looks highly promising!! This walter presents series of - mostly European foreign dramas - has had much to recommend it, as - so far - there hasn't been a poor one!! Intelligent multi layered is the best way to describe them, and they are - despite their 'heavy nature' - a great relief from the trailer park trash almost everywhere else!
