They have to be careful now not to offend other religions, by celebrating Christmas, since the UK is becoming a very politically correct country, or at least pretending to be.

Apparently the women aren't even allowed to say Merry Christmas on the mic anymore

Politically correct yes, if you consider that Christianity is the only valid religion! I personally (stress personally) have no time for any belief system based on wholly subjective, and in many aspects, wholly unproven and readily debunked events/signposts!

I earnestly wish (as an unapologetic atheist) we could reach a point where we could extract ourselves from this car crash waiting to happen - called religion, and see and relate to each other as what we are....human beings!

I must say that after it became clear to me that the man with the white beard, wearing the red cloak, was NOT actually travelling the world (sorry kids) in his sleigh, and leaving goodies at the foot of my bed, I saw Christmas (and have ever since) as the waste of time, space and money it actually is!!
