He will be gone still got about 60 days dont think he will last more than 30 more days esp if something happens to an MP in the meantime

It is bone chilling to think of just how alike he and Trump are in their character (or lack thereof) and behaviour!

For all its faults, I bet many wish they had another vote on Mays' withdrawal agreement! The fact of the matter is, that the border between NI/ROI requires a means of making checks to and from.....just accept that, and move on! A customs post maybe, no need for military style construct at all!! design it like toll booth, WTF is the big deal here? As a unionist, I can think of many things that are a danger to the Union . Right now Johnson himself, is one of them! A border checking mechanism is not top of the list (if properly thought through)

I thought there were some MP's trying to resurrect it for a fourth time, what happened to that?

Would most likely still not have the numbers in Westminster!! Labour less inclined to go for it now - why would they help a punch drunk govt and ten bob PM off the ropes at this point??

^ because if they tried to bring it back and boris and the ERG were the ones to stop it then Corbyn could say they were blocking the will of the People

in fact thats what they should do on monday when all the tories are at the conference maybe get some on like hammond or gauke or letwin to bring Teresa mays deal back

You can have electronic tolling!! So point of origin electronically created and sent to receiving country! Same electronic means of checking validity of same upon arrival!! Would internal CCTV in goods carriers, plus tachographs not take care of the rest?? Expense I hear is the cry?? One off expenditure which goodwill and cross border cooperation/input will solve??

There are probably flaws in my thinking somewhere - don't claim to be an expert, but if I can set my mind to trying to solve this in my own living room, it beats the hell out of me, how the supposed best brains available can't!
