Has it ever been explained why this channel is called Studio 66 (formerly Elite TV)? Only I've never seen anything that says why, I mean it doesn't immediately shout night time sex channel does it.

They were going to call it Studio 666 but something evil removed one of the 6's?

It was meant to be Studio69 but in typical fashion for them the "9" on the sign wasn't attached very well and the result stuck.

Sound like that old visual door joke when someone goes to number 9 but then makes a mistake of some sort, goes back out side and moves the number round to a 6
