Agreed. Kandi's TV appearances have thinned out. It's completely opposite to the SawBoss claim that she's guaranteed shifts. As I said before, nobody at Studio 66 is guaranteed shifts, and Kandi isn't finding them easy to come by.

I used to love Kandi's performances on screen but since she came back they have been static and boring, it's as if she doesn't care anymore - she used to be so dynamic and very naughty, even getting naked and having the camera roam all over her hot body. Ah well, we will have Alexa back tonight and Lola so 2/3 ain't bad.

I, for one, find it near impossible to fathom that Kandi, in this case, could be doing so well during her shows. There are often great swathes of dead-air between her calls.

It just feels like a channel that's dictated to - largely - by friendships and bias. Jennifer Jade, Emma C, Evelyn, Kandi - all seem to tell the channel when they want to work. Almost no deviation from their usual days, and jobs nice and safe, regardless of effort.

I totally agree with you, and have observed this "cronyism" since the very start of this channel (and its predecessor).
There is no other way to explain how a girl can get 3 slots per week, shorter hours than others, whilst putting in minimal effort on screen - and get very few callers - unless she's communicating via telepathy!
As it bothered me, I called and asked a day girl about how the evening shifts were allocated - and her guarded reply was to the effect that some girls enjoy "friendships" with studio staff which benefit their careers. This is often a trigger for defections to BS and Xpanded, because it becomes clear that no matter how hard a newbie tries, they are facing insurmountable barriers.

Who gets 3 slots a week? Even Lola isn't on that often.

Also, you're making a basic mistake in thinking that all the girls prefer to work short hours. Most of the girls would work longer hours if they had the chance.

Lola's been replaced by Marina on the schedule, Lola's said on twitter her mum is ill in hospital that's why she wasn't in for her day show yesterday

Kerrie-Lee didn't face any insurmountable barrier. Even as a newbie she got plenty of shifts. She may have chosen to leave after less than a couple of months, but she had no problem in getting shifts whilst she was there - even though she apparently had serious disagreements with the producers. Business being business means that most of the time cream rises to the top.

What's going on with the lighting on S66? Way too bright most of the time and the babes are overexposed in the wrong way! Initially thought it was my settings, but other channels are fine.

Ofcom are investigating Studio66tv again this time for the day and night shows on various dates I hope Ofcom dont fine them because If they keep breaching the code Ofcom might think are Primetime TV Ltd fit enough to run a tv channel?

I wish Lola's mother a speedy recovery.

Kandi (or any other top pecking order girls for that matter) may not be "guaranteed" shifts per say, and yes, she has only done a few in the last couple of weeks but considering how many no shows do to illness/holiday she has had she still gets more - almost as if she decides when she will work and S66 have to work around her schedule. She has basically only done 1 day per week (mostly weds) since her first "comeback" a couple of years ago and has been finishing early/working shorter shifts since then as well.

Does anyone seriously think that girls at the bottom of the pecking order get paid the same as girls at the top of it? S66 desperately want to attract the "big names" so need incentives to stop said "big names" from joining other channels.

Exactly. Just look at how many new girls have trouble getting shifts or end up being stuck sharing sets for months on end. There is a reason most end up jumping ship.
